Christian "Blackwater" values...

Selling children into prostitution

The latest horror show from the Blackwater saga illustrates how absolutely dangerous white supremacy is when empowered with federal dollars and the power to kill.

Instead of being run out of all civilized society, Erik Prince's huge donations to the GOP earned him massive federal contracts and the backing of the US government as his employees raped children under the banner of an American flag.

White power politics is not a matter of free speech when used by the state as a tool of war. It is a war crime. Erik Prince is a war criminal..............Rest Here

Like this:

Showing they don't respect those that serve, even the ones amoung them that did, but this is what the Purple Heart and it's being Awarded Means:

Each year on August 7th, Americans should pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who were either wounded on the battlefield or paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives. The Purple Heart is awarded to any member of the U.S. Armed Forces that has been wounded or died as a result of a wound in battle.

This now includes those persons who died in captivity while a prisoner of war (POW). We now celebrate Purple Heart Day on the anniversary of its inception, August 7th. On this day it is our patriotic duty to remember and recognize those people willing to serve our country, no matter the price..............Rest Found Here

Yesterday on NPR's Talk of the Nation they had a discussion on Civilian Casulties of War and Occupation

Civilian Casualties And The Rules Of War

Today we begin in Afghanistan, then widen the conversation on civilian casualties and the rules of warfare.

Snip

Maj. Gen. DAVIDSON: They are, but we also have a vastly smaller army in Afghanistan. We had 527,000 troops in Vietnam at the height of the war. Big difference, though, I think, General Westmoreland thought he could win the war by killing people. And we now understand, and Petraeus knows this to his fingertips, you have to win their hearts and minds. Killing people will not win this war for anyone in Afghanistan...............

You can listen To the discussion with this link, transcript is above link.

Not only did Westmoreland believe the killings would win the war, so did many of the soldiers, for many every Vietnamese was an enemie combantant, thus prolonging the war and getting their brothers and themselves killed and maimed in greater numbers!!

T. Boone Pay Up

PAY THE MILLION BUCKS YOU OWE PARALYZED VETS NOW!

FRANKEN SHOOTS DOWN "DRAFT DODGER PICKENS"

PICKENS STILL REFUSES MILLION BUCK PAYMENT TO PARALYZED VETS OF AMERICA

T Boone Pickens, famous for offering a million dollars to anyone who could prove John Kerry earned his combat awards got a dressing down by Senator Al Franken. Picken spent $3 million spreading what were later proven to be total lies.

Pickens, who refused to serve during the Korean War, stuck it to paralyzed veterans when his challenge was met and his Swift Boat politicos were proven liars.

Snip

When Vietnam veterans submitted a 12 page letter and 42 pages of documents disproving Pickens claims and demanding payment be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, Pickens made a series of unintelligible excuses, believing, perhaps rightly so, that money and control of the press could help him avoid humiliation for bad mouthing a combat veteran and being called to pay.................

Fight back against health insurance Lies

What does UnitedHealthcare CEO Stephen Hemsley have to lose if Congress passes real healthcare reform this year? Well, for starters, his nearly three quarters of a billion dollars in unexercised stock options might lose a few pennies on the dollar.

What does Isabella, a four year-old girl in Winsconsin who is physically incapable of eating and has had to be tube fed her entire life, have to gain from healthcare reform? The treatment she needs to live a normal life.

Obama: Health Care Reform Won't Impact Veterans Affairs, Tricare

Congressman Filner Bill Allows Elderly Veterans to Use Earned Medicare for VA Health Care

“There are veterans who have earned VA health care benefits with their service to our country,” stated Chairman Filner. “They have also earned Medicare benefits by contributing to the Medicare program during their working years. Because VA cannot bill Medicare, elderly veterans are unable to use their Medicare benefits, even if they may prefer to receive care at a VA facility among their fellow veterans. So for those veterans, they basically forgo the hard-earned dollars that they contributed towards Medicare benefits during their working years. H.R. 3365 is an important bill that would allow elderly veterans to access both VA health care and their Medicare benefits.”

Veterans Administration begins effort to help keep arrested veterans out of future trouble

Bracing for an influx of soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, the Department of Veterans Affairs has launched an ambitious effort to locate veterans who've had minor brushes with the law and offer them treatment to try to prevent repeat crimes.

The VA started its Veterans Justice Outreach Program early this year — before public attention intensified on a handful of Fort Carson, Colo.-based soldiers accused of murder, attempted murder or manslaughter after returning from a deployment where they faced intense combat. Most of the soldiers had been arrested for domestic violence, assault, illegal gun possession, and alcohol and drug charges before the slayings...........

Leila Fadel: Journalist

Leila has been a really good source and young Real Journalist on the Iraq occupation.

A McClatchy reporter reflects on what war brought to Iraq

I picked up a daily habit in Iraq. Every morning, before I left the office, I'd savor that moment — the moment before. Maybe it came from all the times that my Iraqi friends told me how they prayed before they walked out their doors because they might never return.

For almost three years, I spent my mornings the same way: I woke up and worried about what the day would bring. It wasn't a question of whether people would die that day, only of when, how and how many..........Rest Here

In Leila's Words

Blackwater (Xe): Murder Inc.

Causing the Deaths and Maiming's of our Soldiers in the Blowback, easing the recruitment of more insurgent fighters and support for same, and in the long term will cause the blowback of criminal terrorism anywhere, and done on our dime, we share the guilt of their actions even if these statements aren't true!

Most of these mercs are ex-soldiers, yet for their good paydays they fought on an ideology completely uncaring of their brothers and sisters still serving!

Blackwater Founder Implicated in Murder

A former Blackwater employee and an ex-US Marine who has worked as a security operative for the company have made a series of explosive allegations in sworn statements filed on August 3 in federal court in Virginia. The two men claim that the company's owner, Erik Prince, may have murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals who were cooperating with federal authorities investigating the company. The former employee also alleges that Prince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe," and that Prince's companies "encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life."

The former employee, identified in the court documents as "John Doe #2," is a former member of Blackwater's management team, according to a source close to the case. Doe #2 alleges in a sworn declaration that, based on information provided to him by former colleagues, "it appears that Mr. Prince and his employees murdered, or had murdered, one or more persons who have provided information, or who were planning to provide information, to the federal authorities about the ongoing criminal conduct." John Doe #2 says he worked at Blackwater for four years; his identity is concealed in the sworn declaration because he "fear[s] violence against me in retaliation for submitting this Declaration." He also alleges, "On several occasions after my departure from Mr. Prince's employ, Mr. Prince's management has personally threatened me with death and violence.".........Rest Here

Whether this is true about prince and Xe or not, and many of us who understand mercs already know that answer, Everything that these mercs did, In-Theaters, especially perceived by the innocents occupied as atrocities caused Blowback on the military troops! They were no different then those our military are fighting, no different! So they not only were killing Iraqi's, or in Afghanistan, they caused the deaths of American Troops and any so called coalition, same goes for the Torturing that was known going on there long before we ever heard about it here! The same happens when the extremely few American Soldiers who commit outright atrocities, as perceived by the populace occupied!

In Guerilla Insurgencies and Occupations the idea is that the invaders and occupiers win the Hearts and Minds of the populace, even when justified invasion, it's an uphill battle right from the initial death and destruction from the beginning of an invasion, many innocents are caught up in and killed. Atrocities, or perceived, bring support for the Blowback to the occupiers, and in todays world the Blowback to the countries of, Criminal Terrorism Flourishes as it builds it's ranks!!

In David Jeffrey Bomford's Words: The Radio Interview

There's a Front Page post, on the latest from the 'birther' conspiracy, recently posted. That's got the links to the Washington Independent latest.

Below you can hear the interview:

PM is an Australian radio news program, Adelaide man caught up in bid to oust Obama

MARK COLVIN: An unsuspecting Adelaide public servant has found himself swept up in a conspiracy to oust the 44th President of the United States from office.

A movement known as the Birthers, which originated in California, is attempting to prove that Barack Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii, therefore making him ineligible to be President.

In a bid to stake their claim they released what appeared to be a Kenyan birth certificate with Obama's name on it.

Sceptics soon traced the bogus birth certificate and found it to be a forgery. The document turns out to have been based on the birth certificate of an Adelaide man called David Jeffrey Bomford.

Dina Rosendorff broke the news to him.....Rest Here

DINA ROSENDORFF: Do you have anything against President Obama?

DAVID JEFFREY BOMFORD: No. I think he was a good choice for President. Apart from that, I didn't at first think he was a good President but he's proved himself alright so he changed my mind.

DINA ROSENDORFF: But he reckons it's a good story to tell his friends and family.

DAVID JEFFREY BOMFORD: I'm not particularly worried about it because no-one would honestly believe that anyone like me would be involved in it - just a grey-haired old guy sitting in a corner in quiet old Adelaide.

The remains of the first American lost in the Persian Gulf War have been found in Iraq, the military said Sunday, after struggling for nearly two decades with the question of whether he was dead or alive.

The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology has positively identified the remains of Captain Michael "Scott" Speicher, whose disappearance has bedeviled investigators since his jet was shot down over the Iraq desert on the first night of the 1991 war..................
