'These tragedies must end'

To the obviously obsessive small arms owners, President Obama nor some twisted thoughts of a liberal Government agenda isn't dictating the taking of your guns, the Country is rising to better control your access to those cherished weapons of mass death, destruction, that your growing paranoia draws you to! And like this tragedy showed one of your owns growing paranoia created a well armed arsenal with very well stocked needs.

I propose just one new policy, others will be by those we hire to act, Hopefully. We have 'Sin' taxes on the rights of some groups, along with those taxes heavy restrictions, of which are paying for that which you readily use, so let there be a 'Sin' tax on these weapons and supplies, ammunition and more, that you need to fill out your arsenals. I propose at least half the cost of each weapon be added to that full cost and each bullets cost be doubled, that half cost also added to any supplies, holsters, sites, magazines/clips {these should be cut back to ability of only loading a much smaller number of rounds then presently} etc.. These taxes are then added to the treasuries and are a continued flow to pay the costs, compensations for first responders, higher teacher wages long overdue, much more, of the carnage these weapons create as they are designed to. Including helping pay the costs of the wars cheered on by the country and others are sent into as well as the results of those wars. These two recent long occupations have yet to be paid for and especially the peoples responsibility the Veterans Administration, added to the previous decades and the results of those wars.

Obama vows action on gun violence
Speaking at a vigil for families of the victims and other students from Sandy Hook Elementary, President Obama says, "God has called them all home. For those of us who remain, let us find the strength to carry on."

16 December 2012 - President Barack Obama vowed to marshal the power of his office behind a nationwide effort to curb gun violence following an elementary school massacre last week in Newtown, Conn.

The president, speaking Sunday evening at an interfaith vigil in Newtown, said that the United States is "left with some hard questions" following the mass shooting, which left 20 children, seven adults and the suspected shooter dead.

He used the speech to lay down a marker, vowing to take action to address gun violence amid yet another high-profile mass shooting in his presidency.

"We can't tolerate this anymore," Obama said. "These tragedies must end. And to end them, we must change." read more>>>

Other tighter laws are needed, and yes regulations on the manufacturing and handling for your own safety as well as others, and the Gun Organizations need to become responsible citizen organizations, taking the blame when it's one of their dues paying members guns involved, even if stolen from them. They must stop their driving fear which builds that paranoia in many coming also from some highly paid talking heads that many follow and listen to what they espouse as their bank vaults fill up.

A civil society should actually be just that, working with each other for that civility and the freedoms it brings!
