A tribute to support Lt. Ehren Watada
Hear the song, read the lyrics and distribute!

Lieutenant Watada we stand with you

Your voice is clear, your words ring true

You don’t follow their orders any more

You have followed your conscience to end this war

They’re trying to disgrace you and drag you down

They threaten you with prison—you stand your ground

Your courage is a beacon for all to see

The price you have paid to be truly free

Free to say NO you will not go along

With war crimes and torture

We all know are wrong

Lieutenant Watada we’re with you today

We’ll be with you tomorrow—we won’t go away

May our love sustain you until your release.

And may others follow your path to peace

Speaking truth to power so all may hear

As the persecute you—they reveal their fear

Lieutenant Watada our native son

A war hero who put down his gun

Your are a living legacy

You have shown what it means to be truly free.
