Beyond The Battlefield Parts 1 & 2

Earlier today Ilona Meagher had a diary up While Minnesota Proactive, Another Iraq Vet Commits Suicide, and after posting a couple of replys I had one with recent News reports I put up on YouTube on Military/Veterans Care.

Ilona put up a link to a News Report, where she had a small part in when in Arizona, there were two reports about Iraq Veterans gravely wounded in the War.

The report comes from one of the TV Stations that recently were in the News as to theirs, and anothers, crashing into each other while covering a car chase, All Aboard Were Killed!

More than one, from each station, will be effected by their own recent traumatic experiance of the choppers colliding, and probably for quite awhile, even though they weren't near the scene of the accident!

Beyond the Battlefield, Part 1
July 23rd, 2007 They were on routine patrol, but what happened next was anything but routine. One after another, rocket-propelled grenades slammed in to their Humvees.

Beyond the Battlefield, Part 2
July 23rd, 2007 Castro spent six months at the medical center. During that time, his hospital room was rarely quiet. A string of politicians and celebrities came knocking on his door, including President Bush, Bruce Willis, and Cher. But nothing could erase the painful memories of an ambush and the painful reality of life without his left leg.

Both are combined in the video above.

This is an example of Great Reporting, well put together and with feeling.

Visit their sites and leave your thoughts:
