Black veterans' names may be added to federal courthouse plaques
Local supporters say a survey of the Natchez National Cemetery suggests that about 200 black soldiers returned to Adams County after the war, yet none appear on the courthouse plaques, which were unveiled in 1924. -->-->-->
I would suggest that Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and his racist breathern take a good long hard look at the History of this once United States, not only as to the Civil War, reasons for, but also that which followed to the present! Why is it so many non-lily whites Served not only in this countries military but also it's wars, most being of choice not in defense of the country, including the two now long running occupations! Look at their photos, read their names, many are even not citizens of when joining!
Who kept these Soldiers names off of being Honored with the others who died in Service to Country for so long, look in a mirror!
