Remember Marcelas Owens, the Racist Neo-Nazi's Do!

I received a call for action from "True Majority", I'll put that link at the bottom, about an incident of pure racist and neo-nazi vandalism, with a quick search I found what happened.

Wash. group that stood with Obama hit by hate graffiti

Members of the Washington Community Action Network," also known as Washington CAN!, found broken windows and hate graffiti scrawled on two of its vehicles. The word “rahowa” and the numbers 88 were scrawled on one vehicle.

The Anti-Defamation League says "rahowa" is short for "racial holy war" and "88" is a neo-Nazi symbol. Both are commonly used by white supremacist organizations. -->-->-->

This is another, there's another video report with it, doesn't have embed link and I can't catch the link.

Hate Graffiti Targets Group That Backed Healthcare Reform

Seattle police are investigating hate graffiti found at the Georgetown offices of a Seattle community group whose most prominent member, 11-year-old Marcelas Owens, stood as a symbol for health care reform.

Members of the Washington Community Action Network who arrived at their offices Sunday morning to plan a May 1 march found the tires of a Honda Civic slashed and the words "Rahowa 88" written on the car's window. -->-->-->

Gotta say, reading these short reports but especially hearing what Marcelas says, this is one brave young man, far more mature and adult then many adults I know!

Stand Against Racism

The anti-immigrant racism we're reading so much about in Arizona has flared into violence at our own affiliate's offices in Seattle. Marcelas Owens, an 11-year-old member of the group, said "I know we're on the right track because they wouldn't do things like this if we weren't as powerful as we are."

We *are* powerful when we stand together against violence and hate. The march for immigrant rights which our organizers were planning will go on as planned -- JOIN WITH THEM. By signing below, you will add your name to the giant banner we will print and carry in the march this Saturday.

And if you have a FaceBook account, be sure to click the "like" button below -- that will help spread the word about this action.
