Coalition Including 9-11 Families To Support Ground Zero Mosque
A newly formed group that includes a number of family members of 9-11 victims is rallying today in support of the building of a mosque near Ground Zero.
The 9-11 families group "September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrows" is teaming up with at least 40 religious and civic organizations to form a coalition called "New York Neighbors For American Values." The coalition is expected to hold an afternoon rally at the municipal building in Manhattan. {read more}

Their group, called September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, will also be joined by at least 40 religious and civic organizations, and is expected to announce the creation of a coalition called New York Neighbors for American Values. The coalition's goals include support of "religious freedom and diversity" and the rejection of "crude stereotypes meant to frighten and divide us."

Sorry, but in neither report do they give a time for this rally to take place, as it's just showing up I'm assuming it's for late afternoon early evening. There's also nothing yet at the September 11th families site about it.
All this years long, leading to the hateful rhetoric surrounding not only this Mosque but Mosques all over this country, while claiming the New York site as some sort of hollowed sacred ground, these condemnations against a whole religious ideology have been getting our soldiers in these theaters of choice killed and maimed as well as civilians in many places and has ramped up the criminal terrorist element in this country!!

Today, Aug. 25, more than 40 prominent organizations, civic groups, leaders and religious and interfaith groups will join together to announce the creation of a coalition in support of religious freedom and diversity and to rebuff the increasingly strident opposition to a proposed Islamic center near Ground Zero. New York Neighbors for American Values embraces the American constitutional values of religious freedom, diversity and equality. We stand together today to reject the crude stereotypes meant to frighten and divide us.

The update is the New Site for this Coalition, apparently the news about was coming over the news sites at about the same time for the Rally so folks may want to show Support in others ways, But Speak Out With Them!!
