Easy, we don't do Capitalism anymore, we do {extremely small 'c'} capitalism, and that's been the case for some thirty years while also shedding ourselves of much needed trades and the experienced that were in them!!!

Why China Does Capitalism Better than the U.S.

Jan. 20, 2011 - One of the great ironies revealed by the global recession that began in 2008 is that Communist Party–ruled China may be doing a better job managing capitalism's crisis than the democratically elected U.S. government.
