PERI: Military Spending vs. Domestic Spending - Jobs

And it's All Stimulus spending while the detractors have tried to say that domestic government spending, especially recently with the recovery funds, was a failure as to job growth and stability, wasn't, they use the argument that we can't cut the ever growing defense budget because of the jobs involved. The problem isn't in that argument for defense spending, especially related to jobs, it's in the lack of the private investments in our economy, i.e. reaganomic's capitalism not followed, as to creating manufacturing jobs here for any lost in the defense industry but creating same overseas if created at all. And as this report lays out clearly defense spending, though ever growing, does not create the number of jobs nor the type of jobs needed for continued economic growth.
