Osama Bin Laden's death is detailed in the book "No Easy Day."

Will it be an Historic take, historically related to the 9/11 attacks on this country, by one of those attached to the Team that did the raid on the compound and not given to a third party to write a non witness report of? We'll have to be the judges of that value to History.

Right now the author is getting slammed by some in the SEAL community, forget the other books some have written over the years or the consultations with Hollywood for movies or TV drama's or the many episodes the Pentagon have put out and related to SEAL team training and ops, about their lives in, for possible outings of SEAL ops and in this case writing about One Of The Main Missions we sent troops into that region in the first place. Only to have all abandoned quickly after the invasion of Afghanistan with the first drum beats pointed at Iraq, not only the Missions but the promises of this country once again given to the Afghan people.

The only National Security Breach, so far and extremely troublesome let alone against the law, from all of this was by whoever gave his name and hometown information to FOX so called news who quickly reported it thus outing him and placing him and his family in danger followed with threats by al Qaeda websites for retaliations.

Osama Bin Laden's death detailed in ex-Navy SEAL's upcoming book
August 29, 2012 - In the book "No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission that Killed Osama bin Laden" a former Navy SEAL writing under the pseudonym Mark Owen, details the death of Osama Bin Laden. The book, whose cover proclaims that it is "the firsthand account of the mission that killed Osama Bin Laden," will hit shelves Tuesday, a week earlier than scheduled, due to demand.

Also, perhaps, due to the fact that several media outlets have gotten copies of it and begun revealing its contents.

The Associated Press reports, "Bin Laden apparently was hit in the head when he looked out of his bedroom door into the top-floor hallway of his compound as SEALs rushed up a narrow stairwell in his direction, according to former Navy SEAL Mark Bissonnette, writing under the pseudonym Mark Owen. ... Bissonnette says he was directly behind a 'point man' going up the stairs. 'Less than five steps' from top of the stairs, he heard 'suppressed' gunfire: 'BOP. BOP.' The point man had seen a 'man peeking out of the door' on the right side of the hallway." read more>>>

SEAL tells 60 Minutes book is for honor, not politics
August 29, 2012 - He calls himself Mark Owen. That's not his real name. We've disguised him and will keep his name confidential for his own safety. Owen was on the helicopter that crashed in bin Laden's compound. He was the second man in the room when bin Laden was shot, he took the photographs of the body that were never released. But Owen told us the story is not about him -- it's the story of hundreds of Americans who spent years gathering intelligence, planning and training of the SEALs, Owen says, "We just took care of the last 40 minutes."

Mark Owen: My worry from the beginning is, you know, it's a political season. This book is not political whatsoever. It doesn't bad mouth either party, and we specifically chose September 11th to keep it out of the politics. You know, if these-- crazies on either side of the aisle want to make it political, shame on them. This is a book about September 11th, and it needs to rest on September 11th. Not be brought into the political arena, because this-- this has nothing to do with politics. read more>>>
