What Government Branches Should Be Doing for Veterans and Military

The only Government Branch, and all branches represent the people, got the point, doing anything as to not only the Military and their Spouses but Veterans, young and old, as well and have been since before even the principles of took the Oath of Office, cabinet stepping in as well. With prodding finally the 'job creators', reagan capitalist free marketers {trickle down}, along with the always dedicated organizations, fighting constantly for funding needs for their successful operations and especially the many volunteers from the civilian and veterans ranks!

First Lady Announces 125,000 Veterans and Military Spouses Hired Through Joining Forces
August 22, 2012 - Earlier today, I joined with First Lady Michelle Obama at Naval Station Mayport near Jacksonville, Florida as she announced that 2,000 companies {transcipt of remarks from first lady} had hired or trained an amazing 125,000 veterans and military spouses in the past year through Joining Forces.

This effort, combined with policies and legislation put in place by the President have resulted in a 20 percent decrease in veteran unemployment compared to this time last year.

It was an extraordinary event, set among several Navy Seahawk helicopters, that kicked off with a new Joining Forces video telling the story of how we got to today's announcement. Hundreds of Sailors from on Navy's premier warships and helicopter squadrons were in attendance along with their families.

The Chief of Naval Personnel, Vice Admiral Scott Van Buskirk, was there and delivered inspiring remarks.

Leaders of businesses who have been hiring literally thousands of veterans were there -- and they brought with them veterans and spouses who they hired in the past year. read more>>>

I Applaud the employers who finally are standing up and hiring employee's they've needed right along, for some it takes a hit in those bottom lines and real hefty exec. comp as well as their oh so important investors who have squat to do with what the companies actually do nor earn the monies from, at least for one group!

Now if they dropped the reaganomic con and actually did what that preached and invest in economic growth and rebuilding the middle class then I'd join in calling them 'job creators' Here!!!
