ya still got a couple of months to squeeze in recruiting in a meaningful, patriotic, addition to that resume. Joining the many Latino brothers and sisters, citizens and yet to become citizens, in real service to the country who are serving and have served.

Strong on national defense, aren't they all! Supporter of the troops, don't they all! While the house majority 112th and now 113th tries cutting the VA budget and the whole bunch in both houses obstructs as they've completely wiped thoughts out of their rubber stamped off the books and all borrowed wars of choice. Cheerily abandoning the main missions for why we sent the military into that region, as did their little foxbot rovian supporters!

Now for you's who'll say "now wait a minute Obama never served", true, but these two clowns, one aged out at 42 the other still has a few months, have lived through the volunteer recruitment ages since 9/11 and I'd have an easy bet win if I made it neither even tried enlisting, instead they found the easy way to easy jobs of saying 'no' and easy government comp and benefits!

The Army has raised the enlistment age to 42 (for Active Duty, Reserves, and Army National Guard), made possible under provisions of the Fiscal Year 2006 National Defense Authorization Act.

The Army raised the active-duty age limit to 40 in January as an interim step while it worked out the additional medical screening requirements for recruits ages 40 to 42. Before January, an applicant could not have reached his or her 35th birthday. The Army Reserve age limit was raised from 35 to 40 in March 2005.

The 'O' was born in August '61 and was over the recruitment age of 35 well before the bush congresses and bush DoD moved it to 42. He possibly coulda joined after 9/11 if he had a needed specialty, like say a doctor or especially if he was a kenyan muslim who spoke the arab languages fluently, then the possibilities were there, he wasn't!
