May 9, 2013 - The garment industry is called on to address working and safety conditions in the industry after the Bangladeshi factory collapse, the United Nations said.
More than 780 people {now over 1000} were killed when the Rana Plaza factory collapsed last month outside of Dhaka.
A five-member U.N. working group on human rights and business said clothing brands that have operations in Bangladesh have a responsibility to ensure working conditions are safe. read more>>>
