September 19, 2013 - Sandy Phillips will travel this week from her home in Texas to Washington, D.C. She was on her way to lobby for gun legislation. She expected to testify at a congressional hearing but it was canceled due to the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard. Phillips stayed in Washington anyway.
