Have no problem rubber stamping All related War costs, these two recent off the books till Administrations change, All on the credit card with Interests and No mention of 'offsets', none for the other rubber stamped bushco wants neither, in other Government spending while quickly rubber stamping Tax Cuts at the same time, especially for the wealthy who made more wealth from investments in the War Machine!! While now running for media coverage camera's on another 'scandal' they caused by grossly under funding the VA for decades and with the help of the people they represent and are served by the military who ignore or deny the issues of the Veterans especially those they send into their flag waving Poser Patriotic wars!!
June 24, 2014 - Cost estimates of up to $50 billion a year for a veterans emergency medical care bill drew sharp criticism on Tuesday from lawmakers who said they were grossly inflated and would complicate negotiations over final details of the legislation.The measure, with slightly differing versions passed by both the Senate and House of Representatives, would allow veterans a two-year period to seek private care at the Department of Veteran Affairs' expense if forced to endure long waits at the agency's facilities or if they live more than 40 miles away.
House Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Jeff Miller said Republicans on a negotiating panel want to find savings to offset the costs of the measure, but they believe the Congressional Budget Office estimates are unrealistic. read more>>>
In this present, so called scandal, anyone hear these leaders of, Rep Miller and political ideology wanting to privatize for corporate profit off the peoples treasury, actually offering changes and demanding those they serve Sacrifice, I haven't and haven't for decades!!
