21st Century America: 'do unto others...

..as you would have them do unto you'

And how, in political circles and certain political ideologies, not just here but everywhere, do we justify 'doing onto others.... as not crimes, we just change what we call them and deny we're actually doing what we so strongly condemn others of doing, it's just that simple while still condemning those others!

Rachel Maddow tells the history of Yuri Yosenko, former KGB spy, to whom the United States apologized for torturing him when he tried to defect, and other examples of how the CIA learned that torture interrogations, while tempting, are counterproductive.

Those in governments that seek, some, those ordered too, rather enjoy doing or knowing it's being done especially if video's are made as it takes places, to justify just rewrite the domestic laws {see also} and totally ignore the imternational laws we as a, once, leading country led the world in writing!

And as we oft hear that this country is a 'christian' nation. Most pushing ignore the teachings of as they readily condemn everyone else, including other whole religious ideologies, for not following and thus not leading by example themselves, total intolerance, but only using convenient speak to claim their christian righteousness. No sins, rewriting bible teachings, broken so no foul.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," commonly known as "The Golden Rule," is indeed a biblical principle. Luke 6:31 records Jesus saying, “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” This statement is in the context of a lesson from Jesus about loving our enemies. Jesus took the conventional quid pro quo method of treating people and turned it on its head (see Matthew 5:38-48).
