Rodriguez accepts Southern Mississippi's apology

Mar. 16, 2012 - Kansas State guard Angel Rodriguez says he has accepted Southern Mississippi's apology over remarks made by its band and has moved on. The freshman says Friday he did hear the chants of "Where's your green card?" during the Wildcats' 70-64 second-round victory in the NCAA tournament Thursday and that the school's athletic director and "personnel from their school" came to the team hotel to apologize. As I had posted earlier on a facebook thread about this:

Those yelling these are the same types that cheer on wars of choice, kombat keyboarders, but you'll never find at a military recruitment office nor Demanding they Sacrifice as to the results of the same wars others are sent into!!

Then adding this to the comment thread:

Add, same never recognize the many Hispanic, and other minorities, who have always served this country in our military and especially those sent into our wars of choice, served with some way back and in my last year in the navy in country vietnam, some being citizens but many not yet and have died and been maimed!!

Watching that happening the whole decade of these two wars of choice, I'd read the articles and then the comments from the kombat keyboarders to them, especially anything related to Hispanics and Blacks and the immigration slandering. Then read the names of those recently killed on the Defense site press releases, especially on dedication boards or the PBS Newshour 'Silent Honor Roll' at the end of many shows, they still do it but allot less frequently now, and get more and more disgusted at many of my fellow citizens!!

This youngster isn't a youngster anymore and he showed he hasn't been for awhile!!

Kudo's Angel, hopefully you'll go much further then those clowns in that band, and yet they'll have a piece of paper saying they're higher educated thus intelligent as well!!!
