Especially Iraq, after so quickly abandoning the missions and those sent to accomplish after 9/11!! Giving rapid rise and spread, across that region and beyond, to the National Security of long lasting blowback from those extremely failed policies, In Our Names, to many Countries, especially ours, for profit and continued fear to keep the masses in political line!! And lessons from all not learned and never will be!!
Afghanistan and Iraq wars still not paid for! Same ignoring of issues from Korea forward makes it easier for the country to not demand they fully fund their agency and responsibility the VA, while the conservative ideology seeks to privatize for corporate profit off the peoples treasury especially if All borrowed as most of that budget is, with high interest payments!
7/5/2014 - The U.S. is faced with a potentially catastrophic collapse of the post-invasion state it tried to set up in Iraq. Incredibly, the mainstream media are now broadcasting comments and advice on Iraq from Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz and other architects of the 2003 invasion.
The fact that their opinions have an audience adds an air of domestic insanity to a dangerous foreign crisis. In 2002-03 these people were misleading us about mushroom clouds and weapons of mass destruction, and constantly hinting (falsely) that Saddam was responsible for 9/11.
Why haven't they been shamed into embarrassed silence? After all, as a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll tells us, 71% of Americans now say that the war in Iraq "wasn't worth it." Think of what this implies. read more>>>
